In our continuous effort to provide outstanding patient outcomes, we are excited to announce the opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Doctor of Chiropractic to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about sports medicine and chiropractic health, eager to work with a team that values innovation and quality care.

Team Composition: Currently, our family includes 2 Doctors of Chiropractic, and 2 office staff members. Our current doctors are the founders, Dr. Morgan Huey and Dr. Joshua Feldbauer.

Facilities: Offering state-of-the-art equipment and a comfortable setting for both patients and staff.

Location: State College, PA

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a licensed chiropractor to join our growing team at Backcountry Spine and Sport. As a member of our clinic, you will diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions using a variety of techniques tailored to meet individual patient needs. You should be proficient in diverse chiropractic adjusting methods. In office we utilize the following techniques to create a unique course of care for each patient. These include: Thompson Drop Table, Flexion-Distraction, Activator Methods, Upper Cervical Care, Diversified Techniques, and various soft tissue modalities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited institution

PA State licensure and board certification in chiropractic

Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Responsibilities:

Provide patient care by conducting physical examinations, assessing patient conditions, and developing care plans.

Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to perform acute pain management and trigger point therapy.

Communicate effectively with patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and procedures.

Maintain medical terminology proficiency to accurately document patient information.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive primary care services.

Possess a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and maintain a Chiropractic License.

Demonstrate strong communication skills and empathy in interactions with patients.

Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in chiropractic care.

Obtain and maintain necessary licensure and certifications
