Description

The purpose of the training is to provide medical professionals with the clues to identifying a patient who may be enduring intimate partner violence. Many times a
visit to a medical professional may be the only opportunity to make this disclosure. This training will touch on what domestic violence is and resources that are available to medical
professionals to help their patients.

This training on the signs and symptoms of intimate partner violence is provided by Lynda Monks, a 23 year Medical Advocate at Jefferson Abington Hospital and the Women’s Center of
Montgomery County. This webinar is sponsored by the Women's Center of Montgomery County.
