This seminar/webinar is designed to introduce chiropractors to Pharmacognosy and interactions with nutrition. The course is integrated from clinical and research-based evidence that contains the following topics below. Each topic will include common uses, mechanisms, safety concerns, drug interactions, depletion, and potential nutritional support. Each topic is chosen based on common reasons to enter the chiropractic and nutritional offices.

Course Objectives:

· Introduce doctors to herbal and botanical nutrition

· Educate doctors on alternative approaches to clinical care

· Encourage doctors to acknowledge common medicines and how they react in the body

· To educate patients and improve communication

· Understand the relationship between drug and medication interactions

· To provide an understanding of how depletion can interfere with patient care
