Edward Zimmer, M.S., D.C.'s Profile

Edward Zimmer, M.S., D.C. Related Seminars and Products

Dr. Edward Zimmer, M.S., D.C. received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He completed his Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition at Bridgeport University in Connecticut. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National College of Chiropractic and was voted Outstanding Graduate by the faculty. His specialty is the field of Functional Medicine which focuses on the natural treatments for chronic disease conditions.

Dr. Zimmer began his career in nutritional medicine the same as most. He assessed symptoms and then prescribed the appropriate supplements meant to counteract the presenting complaint(s). He became discouraged and disillusioned with this approach as he found that most of his patients were simply taking “meals of pills”, spending a lot of money and in the long-run were really not addressing the core of their problem. He began the study of Functional Medicine over 25 years ago and connected with the group of natural health doctors across the United States who research and practice the art of investigating the potential causes of disease instead of only focusing on symptom care. His intense study of this method of treatment has led him to become a beacon of light to those who are looking for honest and logical answers but do not know where else to turn.

Dr. Zimmer teaches ethics and risk management and is asked to speak across the nation to his fellow chiropractors. He has been featured on television in Indianapolis and has lectured at meetings in Myrtle Beach, Louisville, Denver, Chicago, Indianapolis,  the Butler School of Pharmacy, and the Indiana University School of Nursing. He has become a trusted source of information for numerous medical doctors and nurse practitioners when they have questions concerning natural approaches to treating their patients. He speaks to groups of all sizes regarding the appropriate application of nutrition for health. Contact the clinic if you need a dynamic speaker for your convention or meeting.

Dr. Zimmer is a Christian family man who has been married for more than three decades and has five wonderful children (along with Maul and Vader, the furry family members).
